Our Mission
In the Vallese lab, we explore native protein assemblies not only to reveal their structure but also to understand their function in their physiological environment, using advanced biochemical and biophysical techniques, with an emphasis on Cryo-EM. Being part of the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) and located near the New York Structural Biology Center (NYSBC) places our lab at the heart of New York City's structural biology scene.
